Use the paint, erase and swap tools to allocate space to teams
The editing tools allow you to make manual changes directly to your source scenario by painting, erasing and swapping the allocation on workpoints.
How to edit a team on your plan
To use the tools, select the checkbox next to a team. This will bring up the toolbar on the left side of the plan which enables you to make changes on your floorplan for that team.
Select the paintbrush or eraser
Use the slider to change the size of the tool and paint/erase. Select the tick to confirm your edits.
Note: You can only paint onto workpoints that are empty. To check, rollover the workpoint you wish to paint on to see if a team name shows at the top of the plan.
Ideally you should limit the number of workpoints you paint on the source scenario, as this restricts AIDRA's ability to generate efficient team allocations. If a specific team must be fixed to a specific location (ie, specific desk setup), paint all workpoints you wish to fix - see Software team.
Swap allocation
On the plan view, select the swap allocation tool, then click on the workpoints you would like to swap. You can swap as many workpoints as needed before clicking confirm changes to save.
