Invitations

Employees can invite their colleagues to work in the office with them when they schedule space with their team.

An employee can only invite their colleagues if they are scheduled to be in the office:

  • When a colleague accepts an invite, space is automatically scheduled for that date/with that team. If the colleague has other invites for that day, they remain in their schedule.

  • When a colleague declines an invite, the employee who invited them will see the invitation as declined in their schedule. The colleague can still schedule with the same team for the same day.

  • Colleagues can have multiple invites for the same day for the same team.

An employee can cancel invites they have sent by canceling their schedule for that day:

  • If an employee cancels, all invites are automatically removed and the colleagues (except those who have declined) are notified the invite has been canceled.

  • Colleagues who have already accepted the invite will receive a notification that the employee has canceled but remain as scheduled (which they can cancel).

Configurations:

  • Invites can be sent by any employee to any colleague. This can be restricted to only the colleagues in their team/s.

  • Invites can be auto-accepted by the inviter. This enables individuals with specific permissions to invite and accept on behalf of their colleagues ie, team leads can automatically accept an invite to all their team members.
