How do I make sure a team stays on a particular floor?

When custom teams are created, or new teams are added via integration to gospace they are automatically given flexibility = Free. This means they can be allocated anywhere in the building.

If teams need to be allocated to a specific floor/area, you need to import them to the source scenario. Paint them into a specific space, and give them flexibility = Flex to stay on the same floor, or Fix to assign them to a specific space. When you have changed the flexibility in the source scenario, this will automatically update in the People page.

If a floor gets full on a particular day, the teams with flexibility = Free will be the first to move to another floor where there is space. However, if they have a strong connection with a team on that floor, they are more likely to be kept on it as AIDRA will prioritise teams to move based on where they have previously been located, flexibility AND connections.

If a team cannot fit onto one floor, it may split between floors. However, if it has been fixed in a specific area, part of the team will still remain in that area, with the other part on another floor. AIDRA will usually try to keep an entire team together, so will split them only when necessary.
